VMP is a Christian non-governmental organization founded in the year 2010 with the aim of sharing the Gospel to the pastoralist communities in Narok, Kajiado, Turkana and Marsabit as the needs of their animals are catered for.

It was started by Dr. Josiah Mandieka, Dr. Ezra Saitoti and Dr. John Mwangi who are all veterinary doctors.

To assist livestock keepers reduce animal diseases in their herds and help build economically empowered communities.

Our Mission

To raise, mobilize funds and other resources for the promotion of livestock keeping. To organize and carry out vaccination programs to vaccinate against common livestock diseases. To offer treatment to all sick animals and carry out control programs. To train livestock keepers on proper animal husbandry. To educate the livestock keepers on marketing techniques in order to be economically empowered. To train them in modern farming techniques and assist them to acquire managerial skills.
